Overview

Purrl is a personal knitting tracker app. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work and never sell your data.

What We Collect

• Name and email address — collected when you create an account, used to identify your account
• User content — photos and PDF pattern files you upload, stored privately and only accessible to you
• Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregate data about how features are used (via PostHog), not linked to your identity

How We Use Your Data Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — storing your projects, yarn stash, and patterns. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com/privacy)
• PostHog — anonymous analytics (posthog.com/privacy)
• Ravelry — if you choose to connect your Ravelry account, their OAuth service is used (ravelry.com/privacy)

Data Storage Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Photos and PDFs are stored in private Supabase storage buckets — no other user can access your files.

Your Rights You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.

Children's Privacy Purrl is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
